Prescott
It is located at the Sun Dog Water Treatment plant just NE of Prescott and just W of Prescott Valley. Both towns are growing rapidly. From 2000-2005 Prescott's population went from 33,938 to 40,360 and Prescott Valley's from 23,535 to 33,068
The reported location is at PRESCOTT (34.57°N, 112.44°W; 1586 m) but my GPS reported it at 34° 34.206'N 112° 25.945' W and elevation 5235 feet.
According to NOAA TM-275, it moved to this location in April, 1983. Before that it was in a location 2 miles due west, in an area that is now a housing development. Before it moved to that location in 1970, it was in at least seven different locations around town and varying elevations since 1898
